The Frozen Passage

Players are members of an expedition navigating icy seas to build a continuous route toward goal cards representing the Northwest Passage. On each turn players play numbered cards in three colors into an inverted-pyramid tableau, using limited communication to indicate which values or colors they hold, spending or conserving special item tokens as needed. The group must satisfy strict placement rules and connect fifteen cards to win; hidden hands and constrained signals force players to predict teammates’ cards and coordinate placements to avoid dead ends. Failed coordination or improper placement ends the voyage in failure.
