Java
Players act as regional rulers competing to develop a fertile, underutilized region of central Java. They lay irrigation, cultivate rice fields, build villages and palaces, and upgrade settlements into cities. Scoring comes from expanding palaces, creating irrigation networks, and staging palace festivals; players earn fame points throughout and at final scoring to determine the winner. The game emphasizes area development, spatial planning, and resource placement as players vie for dominance in the emerging landscape.

Floro6,0 Mayorias, un poco rebuscado. Me parece demasiado complicado para mi. Me extrema buscar las mayorías por alturas...
Evan2,5 With four players, the board seems too large and the game takes too long. If we would cut the board size and number of tiles by about 1/3rd it would be fun. The general idea of the game is you are placing tiles on the board or on top of other tiles. You get 6 action points to spend, and you can create cities by connecting village hexes and then spending an action point to announce the city by placing the city tile that matches the size. You get some points for this, and some points at the end for having one of your markers at the highest elevation in that city. Through clever tile placements you can carve big cities up and make new ones, but you can never join two cities. All this sounds well and good, but the board is so large and there are so many places to place and things to consider that it really locks up AP prone players. The board state changes so much that you can't really plan your turn until it's on your turn, which makes the wait for the AP players unbearable. The game also has this strange, tacked on mini-game where you can play matchy-matchy cards for extra points in a city you have a guy in. All in all, while I wanted to like this, I just don't think it holds up.
Tom6,5 This game is superb! The only reason I won't give it a higher score is because with some people, the game is R-E-A-L-L-Y slow.
