Players take the role of Mayan priests interpreting cycles on multiple calendars and attempt to predict outcomes each round. Before tricks begin, players privately sacrifice cards to set a target value; during trick-taking play, winning tricks with cards that match sacrificed targets scores points. The game mixes hand management, bluffing about intentions, and tactical trick play as players try to align sacrifices with the tricks they can win to earn the highest prophetic accuracy.
