Players take the roles of buyers and painters competing to assemble suitable artworks for museum exhibits while avoiding forgeries. Each round two topic cards set the themes and buyers request a number of paintings; painters choose cards from their hands that best match one topic and then the deck adds counterfeit cards from Belratti. All chosen cards are shuffled, revealed face up, and buyers must pick the genuine painter submissions while leaving the fakes. Roles rotate each round and the group loses if buyers accept too many forgeries. The game focuses on hand selection, bluffing through placement of cards, and deduction at reveal.

In this game, each player is assigned a random role. Either you are a gallerist or a painter. The gallerist players flip 2 cards and then collectively decide how many cards they want. Then the painter players collectively have to produce that number of cards, mentally assigning them to one of the two cards flipped. Then four cards are added from the draw pile secretly. The pile is shuffled and then it's the gallerist's turn to try and logic out which cards go to which faceup card, and which are the "fakes" produced by the randomly added cards. The game ends when gallerists incorrectly assign 6 fakes to the faceup cards. Then you see how many cards the gallerists guessed correctly and score based on how large a pile that is. The game this is most similar to is Mysterium, although there are a number of advantages here. First, there's very little if any downtime. Mysterium is fantastic, but there are long periods where the ghost has to spend time processing the sets and the cards and who gets what. In this game, players are active through out the experience. Also, it's delightful how at the end of the round the role cards rotate, so everyone gets a chance to be both painter and gallerist. There is a little bit of flip luck, in the sense that the four secret cards that get added in from the top of the deck might perfectly match one of the cards, or they might be so completely random that it's obvious what to remove. That being said, since multiple rounds are played, and there's an even chance of it going either way, I think it's fine.
