Passtally
Players take turns placing tiles onto the board to build and stack terrain while drawing a continuous line that connects their two player markers. Scoring depends on how many tiles the line passes through and the stack height of those tiles, so taller stacks yield higher points as lines traverse them.

Evan8,5 The central board has a grid with lines running across it. Players start the game by placing a marker on each of the four sides of the board where one of the lines terminates. Then, on each player's turn they get 2 actions, where one action option is to place a tile from the display of three, and the other action option is to move one of their player markers up to three unoccupied lines in either direction around the board. Once this is done, you trace a path between your markers scoring on a chart based on how many tiles you crossed, and how high the tiles were that you crossed, as tiles can be placed on top of other tiles. I found this to be a very satisfying puzzle. The tile shapes, and the paths on them are wonky which can make it a little difficult to intuit the best move. This is both what makes it a wild game, but also one that can have a decent chunk of downtime between turns. Thankfully, the game only has a few colors of tile, and each color has a specific pattern printed on it, so you can get used to the components as familiarity grows. However, I don't know that I'll get to a point where I can easily math when I'm helping myself more than my opponents. I'd feel that this was a problem if the core gameplay wasn't as satisfying as it is. Additional nice usability elements the game comes with are markers to show when something hits height 3 and 5, and a ruler that goes up to height 10. If you like creating paths, and you like putting things on other things in a game, then definitely check this out. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :star: Clever or interesting mechanisms :nostar: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :star: Multiple plays stay interesting :star: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::star::star::star::star: Raw enjoyment
