Mission: Red Planet (Second/Third Edition)
Players lead competing Victorian-era mining corporations racing to colonize and exploit newly discovered Martian resources. Over ten rounds, each player secretly selects one of nine specialist characters to time launches, place astronauts on rockets, and trigger a unique special action. Spaceships travel to hidden destination zones on Mars where players reveal and harvest celerium, sylvanite, or ice at three scoring moments. Players can gain research and mission cards that alter resource values or grant endgame points, and interaction includes direct interference with opponents’ launches and placements. The game supports up to six players and includes a two-player variant and expanded action and discovery options.

Vic Granell8.0 Excellent game with a combination of mechanics that blend very well together. Requires a group that doesn't take meanness in games too seriously. As a fan of Citadels, I was eager to try this one, it's super fun!

Fun area control game. Maybe the end of the game it's too chaotic on relation of the main part of the game, that's really strategic. But it's a solid, easy to learn game.
