Platformer

A light, competitive miniature board game for 2–4 players that simulates a side-scrolling platformer. Players move their heroes across a vertically layered map assembled from cards, climb platforms and ladders, fight monsters, collect coins and items, and race toward higher levels and a boss. Turns use a simple gravity mechanic: characters climb during their turn and then fall until they land on a platform or ladder. Actions available each turn are determined by dice (each die may be rerolled once) and include moving, jumping, collecting gold, and moving or attacking monsters. The map is constructed anew each game and only the starting level is visible at first, creating evolving tactical choices and light luck-based variability.
