Players assume the role of aspiring Art Nouveau workshop owners who recruit and develop artisans while producing decorative works. Each round players use artisan workers to draft material tiles in specific shapes from a shared market, then place those tiles to complete pattern-based craft projects across different media (ceramics, glass, textiles, metal, painting). Crafting patterns earns renown and can unlock additional artisans or promote existing ones from apprentice to journeywoman to master, which expands drafting options and available shapes. After a fixed number of rounds players score renown for completed patterns and artisan ranks; the highest total determines the winner.
