Donuts

Two players place colored rings on a 6×6 grid made from four randomized 3×3 tiles; each space shows a line that dictates the direction—vertical, horizontal, or diagonal—in which the opponent must place their next ring. Players alternate placing rings on unoccupied spaces, except when the directed line is fully occupied, in which case the opponent may play anywhere empty. Placing a ring between two opponent rings or inserting between a sequence that leaves opponent rings flanked converts those opponent rings to the active player’s color. The first player to align five rings of their color wins; if the board fills without a five-in-a-row, the player with the largest orthogonally connected group of rings wins.
