UBOOT: The Board Game

Players crew a WWII Type VIIC submarine in a fully cooperative, real-time campaign driven by a companion app. Each player takes a distinct officer role — Captain, First Officer, Navigator, or Chief Engineer — and issues orders to their crew via a worker-placement system while managing duties like course and depth, engines and repairs, tactical information, morale, and crew health. The app supplies instruments (periscope, hydrophone, Enigma, etc.), ambient sound, and an AI opponent, creating timed challenges across strategic and tactical layers. Missions range from short skirmishes to multi-mission campaigns that require teamwork, quick decision-making, and efficient crew coordination to complete objectives and return to base.
