You must cover income-diagonal spaces in ascending order and may only cover an income space if all spaces to its left, below, and in the bottom-left square are also covered; green tiles may not be orthogonally adjacent to other green tiles but diagonal adjacency is allowed. (page 12)

No — each action space can be occupied only once per round, and the column of the action indicates how many Vikings that space requires (1 in the first column, 2 in the second, etc.). (page 9)

Placing green/blue goods, silver and ore on exploration boards and placing orange/red/green/blue goods and silver on house tiles are Anytime actions you may do at any time, but once you place a goods tile you cannot take it back. (page 13)

A failed raid/pillage/whaling attempt gives consolation goods (for example failures grant 1 stone and 1 long sword), and some failures allow returned Vikings: failed pillaging may return 1 Viking, failed snares 1 Viking, and failed whaling up to 2 Vikings, which you may use later that round. (pages 17–18)

Immediate (yellow) cards take their one-time effect when played; Anytime (blue) cards provide permanent effects you can use at any time and any number of times; Each‑Time (red) cards trigger their effect each time the stated condition is met. (page 21)

You can place goods before income so those placements affect your income, but all income and bonuses in phases 7 and 10 are generated at the same time, so you may not use income/bonuses from one board to place pieces on another board during that same phase. (pages 11, 13)
