Citadels

Players assume a different character each round and use that character’s special power to gain gold, disrupt opponents, or manipulate cards. Characters act in numerical order, allowing actions such as assassination, theft, card exchange, or destroying an opponent’s building. On a turn a player collects income (gold or card draw) and may construct buildings from hand by paying their cost; some characters alter how many buildings can be built or interact with colored building benefits. The game ends when someone builds their eighth building, and players score points for buildings, color bonuses, and other endgame awards.
