When you place an Axis die you compare it to the plane’s current Axis and rotate the plane toward the higher value by the difference; if that rotation would cause a spin (an over-rotation) it is an immediate loss, and the win for Axis is when the plane is horizontal (level). (See page 5.)

Add the two Engine dice and compare the total to the Aerodynamics markers to determine whether the Approach track advances 0, 1, or 2 spaces; advancing into another airplane’s space or past the runway causes a collision/overshoot and a loss. (See page 6.)

You place the Radio die on the Approach track to remove one airplane token from the Approach track (the Radio action is used specifically to remove an approaching airplane). (See page 7.)

Each Concentration (coffee) token lets you modify a die by +1 or −1 but dice values must remain within the 1–6 range, and you can hold at most three coffee tokens. (See page 8.)

Brakes deploy in steps (first to 2, then 4, then 6); when you place the Brakes die you advance the red brakes marker, and during the landing check you compare the plane’s Speed to the Brakes value as part of the win/loss resolution. (See pages 9 and 11.)

To land successfully on the final turn the Approach must be clear, Flaps and Gear must be green (deployed), the Axis must be level, and the plane’s Speed must be less than the Brakes value. (See page 11.)
