Concordia Venus

Players act as Roman merchants sending colonists from Rome to settle cities that produce bricks, food, tools, wine and cloth. Play proceeds by selecting actions from a personal hand of cards that both enable moves and score victory points at the end. The game emphasizes economic planning and tableau-building: acquire new cards from the market, expand across modular maps, develop trade networks and outmaneuver rivals’ goals. The game ends when the market is empty or a player builds a set number of houses; scoring comes from cards and patronage of the gods. Optional team play, new Venus-themed personality cards, and multiple maps offer varied strategic paths.
