伊斯坦堡・骰子版

Players roll worker dice to perform actions in a bustling bazaar, using results to gather money and goods. Dice results determine available moves for buying, selling and trading across a compact market tableau. Collected resources are exchanged for rubies; clever dice allocation and timing of trades produce the most valuable gem haul by the end of the game.

A nice implementation of a dice game. But not very entertaining. Way too much luck involved. An enjoyable, light dice game with a good amount of options. Feels well balanced after 4 plays (with 2 and 3 players). It's a great family game. 7.5 -> 7.0 It's still pleasant game, but I feel like it's over before it could get really interesting. I'm also not a fan of the theme (obviously, same old).

To my surprise I liked this game a lot. I don't generally like dice games and I didn't like Istanbul proper, but this really turned out to be a pleasant surprise. In this game, you roll the dice, then you can spend the dice to do different things based on the combinations you got. One combination lets you bank a token, which shows one of the die faces. This lets you stack die results for bigger turns later. Another combination gets you a technology tile, which gives you powerful new abilities. These also combo with each other satisfyingly, although there is a strong degree of flipluck involved and not all tiles appear to be equally useful. In particular, there's an ability tile that lets you roll additional dice, which so far has been vastly superior to any other tile, and the player who winds tends to have one or two of these tiles. Of all the luck in the game, this one aspect bothers me. You can use the dice in different patterns to pick up rubies from the board, which just like in Istanbul proper, get more expensive as they get picked up. I had something interesting to do each turn, there is a cute card effect mechanism that sometimes has beneficial effects for your opponents that kept me engaged in opponent's turns. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :star: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :star: Multiple plays stay interesting :nostar: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::star::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment

规则问题

由 Ludoya 的规则助手根据规则书回答。

Do I take income from my Mosque Tiles before I roll the dice on my turn?

Yes — you take income from your Mosque Tiles at the beginning of your turn before you roll the dice (see page 4).

How many dice do I roll, and can Mosque Tiles give me extra dice?

Normally you roll 5 dice; Mosque Tiles can add additional dice, but any die gained from a Mosque Tile is added beginning with your next turn (see pages 4 and 6).

Can I use the same die more than once or use one die for two actions?

No — you may only use each die once per turn for a single action; however you may discard Goods Markers (a brown marker is wild) to act as dice icons (see page 4).

If I discard multiple card icons, do I get to keep multiple Bazaar cards?

You reveal one Bazaar Card from the deck for each card icon discarded, but you select and use only one of the revealed cards and then discard all the revealed cards (see page 5).

If I buy a Mosque Tile, can I use its ability or extra action/die immediately?

No — when you acquire a Mosque Tile you may not use its ability until the beginning of your next turn, and any extra die from a tile is added starting with your next turn; however, if taking the tile brings you to exactly 5 Mosque Tiles (4 in a 4‑player game) you immediately take 1 Ruby from the Mosque area (see pages 6 and 5).

How and when does the game end, and what happens in a tie for rubies?

The game ends after the round in which a player reaches at least 6 rubies (5 rubies in a 4‑player game); the player with the most rubies wins, and tied players sell their Goods Markers for 3 Lira each and Crystals for 2 Lira each — the tied player with the most Lira wins (if still tied, tied players share the victory) (see page 6).
