No — you cannot retrieve the worker you placed this turn; retrieval restrictions prohibit taking back the same worker on the same turn (see pages 16–17).

No — dice manipulation is limited to chaining along allowed adjacent spaces only; you may not wrap around the grid or stack movements beyond the chain rules (see page 14).
