Dark Souls: The Board Game

Die Spieler schlüpfen in die Rollen gepanzerter Abenteurer, die einen feindseligen, miteinander verbundenen Dungeon voller Monster und Bosse erkunden. Die Karte entfaltet sich, während die Spieler Plättchen aufdecken, wodurch im Verlauf eines Szenarios Orte entstehen und Gegner auftauchen. Der Kampf nutzt ausdauerbasierte Aktionen und ein Gegnerverhaltenssystem, das Reaktionen und Angriffsmuster vorgibt und sorgfältige Planung sowie gutes Timing erfordert. Die Szenarien bieten abwechslungsreiche Minibosse und große Bosskämpfe, einen anpassbaren Schwierigkeitsgrad für 1–4 Spieler sowie ein dynamisches Verhalten, das den Verlauf jedes Kampfes verändert.

I love everything except that game takes INSANE number of hours. 120 min! don't make me laugh. It took one day around 6 hours to just finish the small boss. No way trying the other boss. We had to repeat and repeat around 3 times the whole scenary to get better and better to be able to kill it. Something else I don't like is that when you die, everything stays the same. So you have to repeat the same strategies that made you win, which discourages you a LOT from repeating the whole scenary to get to the end.

Good port from the videogame. More or less the same, kill a lot of enemies, beat a final boss and die a lot of times to do the same. I'm not a pretty big fan of the videogame, nor of the board game, but it's original and pretty tense, but maybe too long.
