In this semi-sequel to keyflower, players are using that same colored meeple driven bidding/activation system, but presents you with a very different feeling puzzle. The focus of the game is more on which tiles get placed where, making sure everything gets upgraded, and using the six different colored road pieces that get placed between tiles to maximize your scoring. Some times score depending on how many roads of a single color touch the tile, others score based on how large a contiguous blob of tiles connected by roads of a single color is. When you combine this with the idea that tiles often need specifically colored roads touching it for it to be eligible to upgrade, you wind up with an interesting little puzzle. Overall this is a good game, however, I enjoy Keyflower proper more, and despite this game being a simpler, more streamlined keyflower, it still plays in close to the same amount of time, which is somewhat damning. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ☆ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★★☆☆ Raw enjoyment

Keyflower is probably a better system - but this is fun too!
