Players explore a snowy landscape by collecting and stacking animal cards into a personal pile; the top card is the visible animal that governs actions. Each animal card shows a placement value, a main and companion animal, and a draw value; at the start of each turn players place cards from hand according to the visible card’s placement value and draw from a shared river according to its draw value. Placing cards grants control of animal power cards that provide persistent abilities. Players also move animal tokens along the landscape based on the main and companion animals on the visible card. At the end of the deck, scoring awards points for longest consecutive sets of each animal in the pile, bonuses for completed sets, advancement of a starting animal token, and penalties for cards in a personal penalty pile.
