Carrom

Players sit around a square wooden board and flick a larger striker disc with their finger to drive smaller wooden pieces into the four corner pockets. Each player or team aims to pocket their set of pieces and the red Queen, following rules for cover and scoring; rounds (boards) award points and the match continues to a target score or number of boards. Play emphasizes precise flicking, ricochets, and positional control, with optional powder or cues and rule variants used in different traditions.
