Fantastiques fabriques

Players compete in a manufacturing race, assembling a tableau of factories and training facilities to produce goods and score prestige. Each round has a market phase—take a free blueprint or hire a contractor for resources or extra dice—and a work phase in which all players simultaneously roll dice and assign them as workers to build factories, run production, or manipulate dice values through training facilities. Gameplay blends dice-driven worker placement, tableau/engine building, resource management and light card drafting as players sequence actions to trigger chains and optimize output. The game ends after a production or building threshold; victory is determined by combined goods produced and building prestige.

Can I build two copies of the same blueprint card?

No — you cannot build a second copy of a card with the same name unless the card text explicitly allows it. (p.5)

Can I activate a card on the same turn I build it, and can I activate it more than once that turn?

Yes, you may activate a card the same turn you build it, but each card can only be activated once per turn. (p.6)

If I place a high-value die on Research or Mine, do I get that many cards or metals?

No — Research and Mine each give 1 card or 1 metal per worker regardless of die value (matching bonuses can add extras); Generate is the action that gives energy equal to the die value. (p.5, p.14)

Can I draw a blueprint from the marketplace during the work phase or take marketplace cards instead of drawing from the deck?

No — whenever you draw a card during the work phase you must draw from the top of the blueprint deck and may not draw from the marketplace; during the market phase you may pay 1 metal or 1 energy to refresh either the blueprint or contractor marketplace. (p.5, p.4, p.14)

Does prestige count toward triggering the end of the game (12 goods or 10 buildings)?

No — the 12-goods trigger counts only manufactured goods tokens and prestige is irrelevant to meeting the end conditions; once any player meets a trigger, the current round finishes and then one more full round is played. (p.7, p.14)
