Steampunk Rally

Players assume the roles of eccentric early-20th-century inventors and assemble clockwork, steam and electric components into racing machines. Each round begins with a card draft to add parts or one-shot boosts, or to convert cards into dice or cogs used as power. Players roll and place dice to activate parts that grant movement, shields, extra dice and other effects, then move through a hazardous Alpine course that inflicts wear on machines. Damage that crosses thresholds forces players to lose parts, so players continuously adapt by drafting new components and finding synergies between dice, parts and terrain.
