玩家扮演一位刚去世作曲家的赞助人，在当下的谈判与他职业生涯早期各个阶段的回忆之间切换。 在现在的时间线中，玩家通过委托其他作曲家补全缺失的乐章，并与遗孀协商，资助最终乐章的完成。在过去的时间线中，玩家买卖作品，陪同作曲家前往各个宫廷和剧院旅行，并收集维持其事业所需的资源。 游戏使用一组数量有限的手牌，这些牌既可以作为行动打出，也可以用来生成资源；玩家会在游戏过程中升级手牌，并在资金与资源之间取得平衡，从而塑造自己的声望，并影响世人将如何铭记这位作曲家的故事。

Javo8.0 Euro medio con reglas fáciles de aprender pero que apreta a nivel de recursos. Siempre te faltará una moneda o un recurso para poder hacer lo que quieres. Hay que medir bien tus acciones para poder efectuar combos correctamente. Tiene muchas formas para puntuar y a nivel de rejugabilidad es interesante. La mecánica de ir mejorando tu mazo es curiosa así como también el requiem. Un inconveniente que le veo es que el tema no está muy integrado, la sensación al final es de estar jugando un juego abstracto. La producción es muy bonita aunque el precio es excesivo.

“What do I do with the two cards I play on my turn?”
Place one card in the Experiences section to determine your action(s), and place the other directly below it in the Story section; the Story card provides Story Points during the next Maintenance Phase. Then resolve the Experiences card’s action(s). (Rulebook, p. 6)
“Do my Story Point tracks carry over from one round to the next?”
No. During Maintenance, all three Story Point tracks return to zero, then are updated based on the cards in your Story section. Story Point counters, however, can be kept between rounds. (Rulebook, pp. 7, 10)
“When I travel, can I perform actions at every city or court I pass through?”
No: you may move through any number of Cities and/or Royal Courts, paying all road costs, but you may carry out actions only at your final destination. You must also pay the Journey Story Point cost shown on that destination tile. (Rulebook, p. 9)
“Can I perform an Opus more than once, or sell it after performing it?”
An Opus may be performed once per round; after performing it, rotate the card and it cannot be performed or sold again that round. Selling discards the card permanently, so it cannot be used again. (Rulebook, p. 8)
“When I buy a Memory card, do I keep the card I played in my Story section?”
No. Discard the Story card from the game, then place the newly purchased Memory card in the emptied Story space. The card row is then refilled, and you draw back up to four cards when required. (Rulebook, pp. 8, 10)
“Do I shuffle the card left in my hand into my deck during Maintenance?”
No. Shuffle the Memory cards from your Experiences and Story sections to create your deck for the next round, but leave the card remaining in your hand out of that deck. (Rulebook, p. 11)
