星空觅迹:探寻地外文明计划

Lead a scientific institution searching for traces of life beyond Earth by launching probes, directing telescopes, and collecting data from planets, moons, and distant star systems. Launch probes from Earth and time missions with changing planetary positions; choose between orbital surveys or surface landings to gather samples and observations. Point telescopes at exoplanetary systems to detect signals and record promising data to analyze back home. Use resources to upgrade equipment, boost telescope capacity, and improve analysis; play and manage over 200 unique cards representing real technologies and projects to gain bonuses and shape research. The game runs over five rounds as players alternate actions and build toward final scoring.

Felt too long to play and too reliant on good card draws (good luck with that, there's a ton of different cards). The actions didn't feel interesting at all. Maybe it would grow on me with more plays.

  • Fiore3.0

Aliens make it pointlessly complex for zero additional satisfaction. Too long, too slow, too boring.

  • Balleflass5.0

Felt very dry. Very run of the mill euro dry.

规则问题

由 Ludoya 的规则助手根据规则书回答。

Do I have to resolve every effect on a card, or can I skip parts of it?

Effects are generally mandatory to evaluate, but some give you a choice (for example you may decline to tuck a card for income); if a specific effect can’t be performed (no probe to move, no card to tuck, etc.) you skip that effect but still resolve the other effects (resolve effects left-to-right as printed). (FAQ p2; Rulebook p15)

If there’s an orbiter at a planet, do I get the landing discount — and can I land from an orbiter?

Landing normally costs 3 energy (2 energy if there is an orbiter at that planet) and the orbiter may belong to any player; orbiters cannot themselves land (once on the planetary board a figure is an orbiter and may not be moved back to the Solar system). (Rulebook p11; FAQ p3)

How do probe moves work — can I move through the Sun, split moves between probes, or distribute multiple moves?

A probe moves to orthogonally adjacent spaces (not diagonally), you may never move into or through the Sun, and if an effect gives you multiple moves you may divide them among your probes; leaving asteroid spaces costs an extra movement. (Rulebook pp8–9; FAQ p5)

When a sector is completed who wins ties, and do excess signals/markers count toward winning?

The player with the most markers in the sector wins, ties are broken in favor of the player whose marker was placed later, and any excess signals you marked (beyond the slot’s capacity) still count toward winning; all players who contributed at least one marker get 1 publicity. (Rulebook p13)

How does Analyze Data work, can I place data anytime, and is there a data limit?

Analyze Data (cost 1 energy) requires the top row of your computer to be filled, then you discard those computer data and mark a contact; placing data into your computer is a free action you may do at any time on your turn (left-to-right, resolving any space effects immediately), and your data pool can hold at most 6 data. (Rulebook p14)
