Mythic Battles: Pantheon

Gods and mythical creatures wake diminished after a catastrophic battle and hunt scattered fragments of their former power across a shattered Greece. Players choose a deity, recruit allied mortals, heroes and monsters, and build a warband to contest control of power shards. Gameplay centers on drafting forces, positioning miniatures on a modular battlefield, and resolving combat and special abilities through dice and card-driven actions. Scenarios vary objectives and map layout, and units gain access to stronger abilities as they collect power. Matches emphasize tactical movement, area control and asymmetric god powers as factions vie to become the new Pantheon.

  • Balleflass6.0

    A great game but with a few somewhat major problems. 1. Terrible rulebook. 2. Some balance issues, but it is to be expected with this amount of different units. 3. Setup time is pretty long, but can be mitigated by sorting stuff out and playing it regularly by already knowing about which units to combo or not. 4. The need for cards to activate troops is a major con for me. Sometimes you get a bunch of cards for your most powerful in a row and sometimes you'll never draw them which makes you spend precious art of war cards to dig for them, or else they'll just stay still and get pummeled. 2 positives. 1. Great minis. 2. Fun dice system with exploding dice and the ability to sacrifice low # dice to increase others.
