Pax Viking
Players take on the roles of Norse leaders operating in the 9th–11th century, expanding influence across riverways, seas, and trade centers from Scandinavia toward the Black Sea and Persia. Through movement of longships, placement of followers, diplomatic actions with jarls and local powers, and development of trade posts, players balance warfare, trade, and alliances to grow territories and influence. The game supports 1–6 players and emphasizes route planning, area control, and strategic use of resources to build a lasting dynasty.

Balleflass6.0 Medium weight Pax game. Has a few things in common with Pax Porfiriana in the tableu building and market mixed with area control. Really dig this one as a lighter Pax game that is a lot easier to teach to casual players. The only downside IMO is that the map may be a bit too big for anything below 4 players, but that may change with time where the players learn to always be close to each other to be able to mess up their win conditions before they reach them.
