Turncoats

Players act as neutral agents in a three-faction war, shifting loyalties to influence the conflict until it ends in negotiation. Each player holds hidden stones that represent allegiance and spends matching stones to take factional actions on the board. Players balance using stones to gain immediate advantages against conserving them for endgame scoring and tiebreakers. The winning faction at game end selects the player with the most stones remaining to assume leadership, so players must manage hand composition, timing of plays, and shifting support throughout the game.
