The Stifling Dark

Players take on asymmetric roles in a hidden-movement horror scenario: one player controls the adversary while 1–4 others play investigators trying to survive and escape. Investigators move point-to-point, manage stamina, sprint, pick up items, lock or unlock doors, and use flashlights to reveal the adversary via a line-of-sight mechanic. Each investigator has unique abilities, and the adversary has distinct attacks and powers that alter play and remain hidden on the board until revealed. Games end when all investigators escape or the adversary fulfills its win condition, forcing players to balance cooperation, splitting up, and quick decision-making.
