Freshwater Fly
Players fish a rushing mountain stream using a rod, reel and selection of flies to catch different species and score achievement points. Each turn a player drafts a die from a shared pool and assigns it to a fishing action—tying a fly to match the hatch, choosing a cast (upstream drift or pinpoint), or casting near terrain to gain skill bonuses and new techniques. The game’s rondel reel and drag mechanics model how aggressively a player fights a hooked fish, producing different bonuses as line is drawn in. Sets of caught fish and flies fulfill personal and communal goals; the game ends when one player lands a seventh fish and final scoring determines the winner.

Garfield2.0 Strong theme, but it's too repetitive. Almost every turn you have to use the dice to move the fish from right to left. Very nice mechanism with the dice pool. There is too much randomness in this game. It was kind of ok to play it once, but I think I will never play it again.
