Players invest in hotel chains by placing tiles to grow companies, buy stock, and cause mergers. When chains merge, majority shareholders of the absorbed company receive cash bonuses while other shareholders may sell or trade shares for the acquiring chain. Play alternates between tile placement, stock purchases, and resolving mergers as the board fills; the round ends when no more legal moves remain and players tally cash and stock value to determine who has accumulated the greatest wealth.

Garfield2.0 90% luck. If you have bad luck you can never build a hotel chain and get one extra card. If you have bad luck you can never do a fusion. If you are at the wrong place on the table, all players before you buy all the interesting stuff. Totally random and waste of time. Even my 2nd play couldn't improve my opinion about this game. I prefer watching paint drying. It's horrible with 6 players, you wait about 15min for your turn because some people are thinking about 2-3min. And this is a totally waste of time, you also can complete your turn within 20s and you can win.
