Players act as wealthy citizens of medieval Prague organizing major building projects under King Charles IV. On each turn players take from six always-available actions on an action crane, paying shifting costs to gain resources, improve actions, and recruit benefits. Actions enable resource generation, action upgrades, and contributions to civic constructions such as a new city district, a bridge, and city walls, with opportunities to gain additional actions and join a cathedral project. Players time and combine actions to exploit synergies between upgrades and construction rewards; the player who accumulates the most royal favor from wealth and building influence wins.

Juego con mecánica de rondel muy bueno donde tuve una erección con el cambio de ronda, avisando el cubito de madera cuando se atranca en el tablero. Me gusto mucho ese detalle...lo flipe.
Javo8.0 Ensaladilla de puntos. No apto para todo el mundo. Es un juego que necesita rodaje para poder dominarlo y saber que hacer. Hay momentos que abruma de tantas opciones que hay. Muy combable y satisfactorio para no gustará aquellos que les gusten tener un objetivo más lineal o definido.

If I take an action tile from the crane, do I get the wheel bonus right away or can I wait to use it?
You generally take the wheel bonus immediately but it is legal to delay using that bonus until later in your turn; some wheel bonuses (like buying an egg) may be used after you earn the needed gold during the same turn (page 7).
A tile in the red zone shows a cost — what if I can't pay that cost? Can I still take it?
No — if a red‑zone tile requires an immediate payment and you cannot pay it, you are not allowed to take that tile (page 7).
If I buy an extra action, can I use the special‑tile bonus or the upgrade bonus with that extra action?
The special‑tile bonus applies only to the action you take from the action crane slot and does not apply to an extra action, but upgrade bonuses apply whenever you perform the upgraded action (including if you use it as your extra action); additionally, placing an upgrade can retroactively grant its bonus for that action if you already performed it earlier that turn (pages 9 and 14).
How do Hunger Wall / St. Vitus Cathedral moves work — what's a sideways move vs moving up and when do I pay?
Placement of tiles with the Hunger Wall or Cathedral icon gives a sideways move (left on the Wall, right on the Cathedral); to move up you must pay 2 silver windows per upward move, and crossing tiers has an extra gold/stone cost; landing on spaces with points/arrows triggers their immediate effects (page 13).
How are plaza bonuses resolved when a plaza is completed — who gets the rewards and how are ties broken?
Buildings with a cube claim a plaza; when a plaza is completed each player with a cube chooses one reward while the player with the most cubes takes both rewards; ties for most cubes are broken by comparing the total cost spent on those players' buildings (stone+gold), and if still tied all tied players get both rewards (page 11).
If I upgrade an action that already has an upgrade, do the effects stack?
You may upgrade an action that is already upgraded, but upgrades are not cumulative: stack the new tile over the old and use only the new upgrade's effects; each upgrade still grants 1 or 2 advances on the Charles University track as printed (page 9).
