Players run an imp family business that breeds and raises magical, temperamental pet cubs for Dungeon Lords. During a sequence of rounds, players use a worker-placement-like system by assigning imps in groups to take actions earlier or later in the turn order. Players care for petz by meeting needs shown on cards, manage problems like illness and misbehavior, enroll pets in contests, and grow them to sell to demanding buyers. Resource management, hand management, and timing determine which pets mature successfully and how much profit and reputation each sale earns.

Do I have to use the gold in the imp group to buy something on the black market, or can I use my Treasury?
You must pay any extra 1‑gold cost from your Treasury only; gold carried in the group does not count, and if you have no gold in your Treasury you cannot take a gold‑marked item (p.4).
Can the bodyguard be used as an available imp or left alone on an action space?
No — the bodyguard counts toward a group's size but can never be alone on an action space, is not an available imp outside Shopping, cannot work in your pet store or facilities, and returns at the end of the round (p.4).
Do accessories make it easier by reducing the pet's needs when drawing Need Cards?
No — each accessory actually causes you to draw and then assign one additional Need Card of that color, and accessories must be assigned before you start drawing (pp.6–7).
When may I withdraw a waiting group of imps/gold, and what if a waiting group grows while waiting?
When it's your turn to send a group you may withdraw any waiting group; if a waiting group grows larger than the current group size it goes next, while if it becomes the same size or smaller play continues in order (p.4).
If I sell a pet that has accessories assigned this round, do I keep the accessories and do they give me gold?
Assigned accessories go with the pet and are discarded when you sell it, and you gain 1 extra gold for each accessory sold with a pet (p.6).
What exactly happens when I use the Fortune Teller action?
You may peek at one unrevealed exhibition or customer tile, you draw four extra Need Cards (one of each color), and you must remove one gold token from a black‑market item (if possible) to reduce its price (pp.4,7).
