聖域:血與沙

Players take the role of rival Egyptian gods vying for control of the land through warfare and divine powers. They marshal troops, deploy powerful god abilities, and fight over temples and strategic locations on a redesigned map that emphasizes Nile and desert regions. Gameplay combines area control, asymmetric powers, and tactical combat resolved with a combat system and upgraded miniatures. Players manage resources to upgrade units and unlock abilities over the course of the game, aiming to dominate the board through coordinated attacks and board presence.

A great rules-light combat and area control focused dudes on a map game! The tech is clean and clear and easy to prepare for with the tech-"brochures". One of my main cons is that the rulebook is a little bit too light. It should should have gotten 1 more page where it described every piece like the veteran tokens (which I had to assume where the beetle tokens as it was displayed in the night phase without mentioning that "this is the veteran tokens". Another thing is that most tech has some pretty boring effects like straight up 1 VP, 1 more attack during your attack or defence, 1 more prayer point, 1 discount etc.. I guess it's ok as most of these are cheap tech, but for such a short game I rather prefer the "tech tiles" in Cthulhu Wars as they are often more fun to play around with.

规则问题

由 Ludoya 的规则助手根据规则书回答。

Can I teleport my troop and still use land moves in the same Move action?

You may use both kinds of move during a Move action, but if you teleport a Troop its Movement value is not used and a Troop can never teleport more than once during the same Move action; teleportation costs 2 PP and moves a Troop from a District with a Pyramid to a space with an Obelisk (p. 8).

If I recruit into an opponent's District, does that start a battle?

Yes — recruiting into a District controlled by an opponent immediately triggers a Battle in which you are the attacker; if you recruit into multiple enemy Districts you choose the order to resolve those Battles (p. 7).

What do I need to buy a Power tile — do I need a Pyramid of the same level or color?

To buy a Power tile you must control a Pyramid of the same color that is at least the same level as the Power tile (or use the alternate buy option for an opponent's City), pay PP equal to the tile’s level, and you cannot buy a Power tile whose artwork you already own (p. 7).

When can I play Divine Intervention (DI) cards in a battle, and can other players play them?

Only the attacker and defender are involved in a Battle; during the War Council each may hide DI cards with the Battle icon under their in-hand Battle card (this is the only time DI cards may be played for that Battle), and no other players may play DI cards in that Battle (p. 9).

How are casualties applied in a battle — what’s the order for Unblockable damage, Damage and Defense?

First each player loses Units equal to the opponent’s total Unblockable damage, then each loses Units equal to the opponent’s Damage minus their own Defense; note Strength (and thus the winner) is determined before casualties and the winner still counts even if they subsequently lose their Troop (p. 9).

What is the Equilibrium rule about Action tokens?

At the end of the Day Phase each player must have at least one Action token on each of the three levels of the Pyramid on their Individual board (p. 6).
