El juego que inventó el deckbuilding. Miles de juegos posteriores se han nutrido de esta genial mecánica pero, aunque muchos me gustan, todavía no he encontrado ninguno que sea claramente superior. La manera de equilibrar el mazo con cartas más potentes para luego hacerlo decrecer al comprar puntos de victoria me parece una genialidad. No obstante al solo poseer esa mecánica se me ha acabado haciendo muy repetitivo.

I worship this game as the heavenly spawn of deliciously strategic deck building and deveptively simple mechanics. Pioneering the archetype of card drafters (Challengers, Mage Knight, Dune Imperium), Dominion fits orgasmic satisfaction into an ugly, awkward box. Indeed, it is one of the great pities of the world that the design for this game is not even slightly nicer, as if a smoother aesthetic would draw in even one person to play this game then it would be worth it. I cannot praise this glorious pile of cards enough, with its infinite replayability and personalisation to that heart wrenching moment when you draw a hand full of victory point cards. Buy this game. Buy it. Buy it.
